Sweet Lilah Mae made her unexpected arrival at just 32 weeks while her family was taking one last trip to the Twin Cities to spend time with friends. After Lilah experienced two seizures caused by eclampsia, the medical team at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, made the decision to deliver Lilah early to protect the lives of both mom and baby. They are both improving every day, but they still have a long road ahead. They will need to remain in the NICU in Burnsville until Lilah is strong enough and healthy enough to come back home in South Dakota.
