Luca was born on July 5th at just 34 weeks\. Due to mom having severe preeclampsia, it was important for their safety for him to come early! Luca has 3 other siblings at home, aged 7, 3 and 1, who are waiting for him! However, with Luca being in the NICU, Nick (dad) has had a loss of income because his work does not offer paid paternity leave. With not having daycare and Sarah (mom) staying with Luca, Nick must be home with the 3 other children. Along with the cost of parking 1-2 times a day, and the cost of gas driving 40 minutes each way, the bills are adding up and taken a financial toll. The mental burden has been very hard to juggle. We appreciate all support and prayers during this time with Luca in the NICU.
