My name's Merideth I'm 35 years old and in April I was diagnosed with non hodgkins lymphoma I was also 19weeks pregnant. We decided not to find out the gender and started chemo asap. I had 6 rounds to do I got threw 3 rounds and at 32 weeks we gave birth to a beautiful baby girl weighing in at 4lb 8oz. We named her Hope. She gave me so much hope and strength to get threw this and still does as i continue my chemo that now is a more aggressive treatment which I have to be inpatient for for a week. I've got 2 more to go and if it wasn't for all the love and support from my wonderful husband my family and friends and all who's praying for me I dont know how I'd get threw this. So thank you

Update

Hi every one just wanted to give the latest update. I had went in for my pet scan and we were given the news we didn't want to hear, my cancer is still there it has shrunk it's about the size of a marble. So now after talking to the Drs at mayo they've decided on new treatment and possibly having a stem cell transplant. I start a new chemo this Monday the 8th and we will head to Mayo the 16th I have apt the 17th. Am I scared yes this journey has been extended I don't know what to expect, financially I'm worried as my husband has no vacation left thankfully my sister's will be here to help with kids I'm leaving it in God's hands and just pray he knows what he's doing. I thank everyone that has and still is helping us it's been just overwhelming lately and without your help I don't know how I'd get thru.

6th Round Chemo

I go in for what was suppose to be my last round chemo this mon for a week. Then I'll get a pet scan to see if it's gone and even if it's gone my Dr still wants to do one more round. It's very hard to be away from my family for a week especially our little baby but we have lots of support and help thanks to some great friends willing to help out with the kids so my Husband can work. Keep up the prayers cause I'm so ready to have my life back.
