Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read my story. My name is Jaemie. I am a resident of St Paul, MN. I am a single mom to 3 beautiful children. My oldest son Jordan 31, middle daughter Jaeden 20, and  Jaeda, 15.

I was in a car accident in 2017. A driver ran a red light and hit my passenger side back right. The impact of the accident caused several issues that were laying dormant.  After the accident,  I had to have two full hip replacements, a pirafomus release, steroid injections and several brachial blocks. Most of my joints have worn down to bone on bone. Especially on major joints. I have several auto immune issues, starting with connective tissue disease, restlese leg syndrome and possible lupus. I am being treated for rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, sciatic nerve pain on right side and spinal stenosis. My last Mri 11/22/2023 showed I have a herniated disc and bulging disc in my neck. It is pressing down on my nerve which caused temporary numbness in my right arm and hand. I was not able to move my arm or hand to wash my face let alone pick up anything. I will be getting an injection for that and starting physical therapy. The goal is to avoid having surgery.

In 2021, I had received Pfizer vaccine.  On the same day of the vaccine, I had a heart attack a few hours after . I was the small percentage of people that ended up with the myocardiopathy due to the vaccine.  They first thought I had a blood clot in my lungs, however after doing the mri with contrast dye, they found my left main artery was blocked at 86% I had to have emergency surgery and had a Stent put in. I was diagnosed with Coronary Artery disease. I currently take about 20 plus prescriptions a day. I  have been waiting on my himra treatments to get approved by Health Partners Insurance. My rheumatologist thinks it could possibly eliminate the need of replacing me from taking hydoxichloriquine,  methotrexate and aziraryoprine. These are all chemo therapy/Immunosuppressive drugs. At times make you very sick.  I have stomach ulcers caused by medications.

It has been very hard to make a living. Not being able to work has caused a huge financial burden on myself and family.  This past October, I lost my biggest support system when my dad passed away after having a massive double heart attack. He was found unresponsive and had to have cpr and use a defibrillator to be brought back to life. Unfortunately,  he had lost way to much oxygen and never recovered after being put into an induced coma. The stress has been so overwhelming for me and my children.  Mentally challenging, causing anxiety and stress.

I am currently waiting on a decision from SSDI. I have my second hearing with a judge coming up in May. I am behind in rent and electric.  I am applying for every type of program to help me get through. My youngest  daughter Jaeda is in 9th grade with  me. Jaeden is attending college at Concordia and my oldest son Jordan graduated college from Hamline University and is now married.

I would appreciate any type of financial help to get me through as I am hopeful that I will be approved for SSDI.

Thank you for your kindness and generosity.  Jaemie
