Dalton is 2 years old, and has had multiple hospitalizations since birth. He has a complex medical history including cerebral Palsy, HIE, And requires a feeding tube due to these conditions. On June 8th we had a routine change for his feeding tube and 24 hours later, he was rushed to the hospital after having a seizure and became lethargic. We later find out Daltons feeding tube had perforated his bowel, and ultimately became septic. and rushed into emergency surgery. Due to the location of the perforation, and the urgency, Dalton has had to remain in the PICU to recover while the surgeons come up with a plan to repair the bowel further. At this time we do not know how long Dalton will be in the PICU, and our family would appreciate any support at this time. Thank you.
