Hello everyone my name is Ashley. I am asking for assistance in maintaining my monthly rental payments on behalf of my son Brayden. Brayden was born at 27 weeks due to complications during pregnancy. He was a twin, his twin died (his name is Chosen)in the womb at 22 weeks, which caused me to go into labor 5 weeks later. Brayden only weighed 2 pounds and 3 ounces at birth. Our lives have changed drastically since his birth. Brayden was able to come home December 23, 2022 but later returned to the hospital January 13, 2023 due to a severe cause of covid where he remains to this day. Brayden has had many obstacles he has overcame. Brayden suffers from chronic lung disease, respiratory failure, tracheostomy dependence (which requires him to be ventilator supported partically), tracheostomalacia, and he is also GJ-tube dependent for feedings. I have had to go through many months of training to learn how to medically care for him when he is able to come home. I have had to give up working because he needs 24 hour care. I do gigs to support myself and children( Brayden's siblings Laila(5) and Kaiden(2) it is very hard but some how I make ends meet. I often fear not being able to pay the bills and as a mother I want to provide a clean and safe place for my children to sleep. I do not have any family that is capable of helping me. My mother died the day after Brayden was hospitalized unexpectedly on January 14, 2023 and my father is disabled. At this moment he is hospitalized in Memphis, TN and we are from Jackson, TN which is nearly an hour away. I have decided to relocate to Memphis because once his is discharged from the hospital he will still have to return frequently for his appointments and stays. I am a single mother that is doing the best that I can while grieving Chosen and my mother while fighting along with Brayden in his brave fight. He has a great team of Doctors and nurses that love him dearly and give him the best care at Le Bonhuer Children's hospital. I have met some wonderful people here. I am grateful for any amount donated. I also ask that you keeps us in your thoughts and prayers as we have a long road ahead of us. Thank you in advance!
