My name is Edwardo T Wilson, and I was diagnosed with Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma cancer in July of 2023. Because of symptoms I was experiencing before the diagnosis, I have been out of work since June of 2023. Because of this, my wife and I had to sell our home in Knoxville, TN and move to Michigan where we have friends and family to help. I began tratment in October of 2023, and have had good success. The outlook for my recovery is good, however I will not be able to work anytime soon, but I have apllied for Disability and am in the approval process. Since we were forced to sell, we did not get what we should have for our home, and after paying off the mortgage, we paid off as much debt as we could so that we would not be under more of a financial burden than absolutely necessary. This allowed us to save enough to move into our own place to live once we found one. My wife and I were able to acquire housing in January of 2024. We are able to eat as a result of qualifying for food stamps, and because of personal gifts we receive occassionally. My wife works part-time, so we really could use help with the rent. Any aid is greatly appreciated.
