Kataly was born on January 23, 2021. Before her birth, Kataly was diagnosed with multiple congenital heart defects, including Double Outlet Right Ventricle (DORV). DORV will lead to multiple, likely three, open heart surgeries in the first 3 years of her young life. She is currently recovering from the first surgery, which she underwent at 5 days old. Kataly's hospitalization has resulted in both parents staying home to ensure she has family at the hospital and her two siblings are cared for at home. We anticipate multiple follow ups, additional surgeries and more time away from our careers to come and would greatly appreciate any additional support. Thank you
