Day in the Life: Meet the People Powering Spare Key
Meet The Spare Key Team
Behind every family supported, every bill paid, and every moment of hope created through Spare Key’s Help Me Bounce Program is a dedicated team working tirelessly behind the scenes.
From managing programs and finances to telling powerful stories and creating meaningful events, the five of us are the heartbeat of everything we do.
Today, we’re excited to reintroduce you to the Spare Key team! Each team member brings their own passion, expertise, and heart to our mission.
Executive Director
📧 sarah@sparekey.org
Sarah Rocklitz joined Spare Key in 2019 as Chief Marketing Officer and was honored to take on the role of Executive Director in 2022, leading the organization with both strategic vision and deep heart for its mission. What began as a role to reposition a nonprofit’s messaging around a new program quickly became something more.
Sarah found deeper purpose in growing Spare Key and the Help Me Bounce platform, creating a direct path for donors to make an immediate difference for families facing medical crises. She is committed to turning generosity into real-time relief for families when they need it most.
Outside of Spare Key, she lives in Burnsville, MN with her family and loves soaking up Minnesota summers, traveling, and trying new, unique foods whenever she has the chance!
